Freshmen through Seniors

Season begins with tryouts in August and runs through February. Playoffs will follow the regular season.

Junior Varsity

Between regular season league games, playoffs, exhibition games, and tournaments all teams averages 50-60 games.

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday:

· Varsity : 3:20 - 4:20 p.m.

· Varsity 2 : 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

· JV : 3:20 - 4:20 p.m.

Wednesday and Friday:

• Weight Room (ALL Players) at Saint Viator - Times TBD

Practices and games are held at Mount Prospect Ice Arena (Nicholas Sportsplex). Games are played across Chicagoland.

All non-goalie players are required to have:

• NAVY helmets with WHITE cages or bubbles (helmet stickers are provided-no other stickers are allowed), 
• BLACK skates with WHITE skate laces,  
• WHITE or BLACK hockey tape ONLY on sticks (except on uniforms, where only CLEAR tape is allowed such as on socks), and 
• NAVY BLUE WITH WHITE hockey gloves

Players new to the program can expect to pay an additional fee for uniforms. Alternate varsity uniforms are provided to varsity players by the Saint Viator Hockey Club at no additional cost to the the player. All new players (except goalies) can expect to pay $760 for a set of game jerseys, shell, warm-ups, workout clothes, and a hockey bag. Goalies can expect to pay $715 for the same (minus the shell). Players new to the club can expect to pay $65 for a reversible practice jersey as well. Equipment fees shall be paid in full prior to distribution. (Prices current as of Summer 2026.) Game and practice socks are included in the hockey fees.
